I have mentioned previously in a review or two way dorsum when, I have a soft spot for films on Lifetime. Not because they are skilful, lord no. For whatever reason, I find comfort in laying on the couch and watching a terrible made for television film. This Silver Falls Haunting affair, notwithstanding...expert lord.

The girls parents are dead, she lives with some creepy weirdos, she dates the teenage version of Rick Moranis, she sees some ghoulish dead twins who look friggin' exactly similar the girl that crawls out of the well in The Ring, the person who was charged with killing them didn't actually do it, the real killers are the ii creepy weirdos daughter lives with, and Moranis…
I retrieve watching this moving-picture show, thinking it was awful, so completely forgetting it existed for 5 years until this very moment, not remembering the proper noun, I had to scour the Internet and here I am.

Finally. Closure. i and a half stars considering even this is non as bad as Silent Hill Revelation 3D.
"A Haunting at Silverish Falls" is a low-budget ghost story total of synthetic scares and dubious filmmaking decisions. A familiar story of a immature adult female haunted by a mysterious presence, the motion-picture show treads little new narrative ground and leads its audience down a handful of undeveloped directions. The motion picture does work hard with the resource it has, and it tries to be compelling with most successful results. Though it is more interesting than some recent horror films with larger budgets, "A Haunting at Silver Falls" is as well undercooked for its own good.

There is an extremely artistic and chilling shot at the beginning of the film after the first death happens. In this shot the camera pans over to reveal legs and and then up to the hands of the victim when the body starts to be dragged. Except the manus that is shown doesn't drag with it considering information technology was severed. Some chilling stuff at that place. That's about the extent of the positives. There are a few cool shots throughout the pic but overall this is a blatantly dull and disinteresting horror movie that really merely feels like a pupil film. Less a horror movie and more a Lifetime Aqueduct Afterwards School Special, it does have a look of production value going for it with some decent actors for what must be a fairly low budget. Also, the daughter playing the chief grapheme is beautiful. Other than that, pretty generic overall.
